Athletic Programs

The Athletic Division, within the Parks and Recreation Department, organizes a robust youth and adult sports program. From cricket to baseball, the City of North Lauderdale and the Parks and Recreation Department are proud to offer a family-friendly atmosphere focusing on building athletic fundamentals, sportsmanship and camaraderie. 

The North Lauderdale Recreation Youth Athletic programs are offered in partnership with the Broward Sheriff's Office Police Activities League. 

All our City athletic programs are open to North Lauderdale residents and non-residents.

Youth Sports Programs: 
All our youth sports programs are open to both boys and girls

Youth Soccer
Soccer is open for kids ages four (4) through 16. Four (4) and five (5) year old kids can play with a parent coach. Registration opens in August and the season runs from October through February. Registration is $90 for residents, $110 for non-residents and includes the team uniform. Parents need to provide soccer cleats and shin guards.

T-Ball and Youth Baseball
T-Ball is offered for kids ages four (4) and five (5) with a parent coach. Coach pitch is for kids ages (6) and (7) seven. Youth baseball is open for kids six (6) to 16 and players cannot not be affiliated with a high school team. Registration opens in January and the season runs from February through May. Registration is $90 for residents, $110 for non-residents and includes uniform shirt, pants, socks and hat. Parents must provide cleats and protective gear.

Men's and Women's Soccer

Cost - $450 per team with an 80 percent resident roster
           $500 for all other teams
