The Finance Department is the City's largest support department and manages the financial activity of the City to provide accurate and timely financial information.  This information is utilized by City management, elected officials and the citizens of North Lauderdale.  Services include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budget, purchasing, investments, debt management and financial reporting.

The Finance Department is committed to excellence in budgeting and financial reporting. The department provides the highest standards in financial and management services through the development and implementation of sound planning, policies, procedures and practices. For more than 20 years, the Finance Department has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation and Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting awards from the Government Financial Officers Association.
